Îton Keng (The Hall of Steam) is a guild of masons established in 81 in the  Adilatíran capital Ilrallenod with its headquarters in the hall The Gilded Lessons. Its only known member at that time was the dwarf ♂ Edëm Ottemrîsen, who joined in 84 and rose in 85 to Recordkeeper. The hall was reported destroyed by Stragdamsto during the Liberation of Ilrallenod of 346.

However, the arrival of legendary mason ♂ Meng Rovodegom from Eskôn would see it revived on Moonstone 5, 963 under complex circumstances. Meng had been an ordinary dwarf first attested in Sethurdim Mestthos Oram, then moved to Eskôn in 957. The next year, he was taken by a mood and created the artifact millstone Athel Kiron. The Overseer at the time had set the number of members needed to form a guild an impossible number, so he had no chance to petition to create one. In 963 he moved to the capital only to encounter the same Overseer with the same impossible number. If at Eskôn it was nothing but whimsy, in Ilrallenod the reason was more practical and the result of an understanding between the Overseer and the adventurers of the Museum to enforce the destruction of all official meeting halls in order to slow down the spread of the Omon blight through members of those locations' organizations recruiting blindly from the outside population. Apparently not content with this, Meng searched for a loophole and found it where in his previous fortress he could never had: the record of an ancient guild, long forgotten and abandoned. Starting from Moonstone 5, 963 Meng claimed himself a member of this ancient guild and no one gainsaid him; among all this, he somehow succeeded not only to gain the Overseer's favor, being responsible for the purchase of useful goods through him transforming unchiseled stone into trade value, but managed to keep his membership secret from the same ruler. Only when he left the capital for other ventures in 967 did he learn of Meng's gambit, actually praising the stony mason.
