Dasnast Bakust

Dasnast Bakust (The Steppes of Urging) is a grassland area of 523 square tiles, the 8th largest region in Orid Xem. It is located to the east of the center of the world.

The site saw three human civilizations vieing for settlements, and there are several examples of one human civilization reclaiming sites lost by another to megabeasts; however, the humans never came into conflict. The dominating force in the area was by far Quogubpesor. Since the 2nd century, the two less aggresive goblin civilizations also built dark pits there. With the arrival of the 8th century, dwarf fortresses of two of the three civizations, as well as hillocks, made the grassland their home.
