Fidale Rabeavathe Ifumidebí, known in the common tongue as Fidale Umberrazors the Sorcerous Vise (b. 462, d. 769) was a ♀ goblin adventurer of the Museum originally from the Ribiromimi group Riramo Icala.
History lists her as having 141 named kills, including the cyclops Ûd Giginatír, the yeti Uxo Urabtudôsp, humans, elves, goblins, undead, night creatures and even a demon, the snow fiend Tigtarem.
She had over two dozen traveling companions, the first of which were the hammerman Obtux Zurengxusmasm and the swordswoman Nina Ipironanotha. Nine of them even earned themselves glory in the form of epithets, a rare feat in any world that even some adventurers strive and never receive.
As she was cursed by Asmel Avuzadas' blood into vampirism, she received the name The Arch of Conflict.
On Timber 18, 769 she died under mysterious circumstances, falling into a chasm in Ngalákrovol.
Legacy[]
Most of Fidale's traveling companions died by the end of her adventures, while a few survived into the 9th century. Of those, most died either to the weremammoth rampage of Aru Berugisep on Sandstone 11, 769 in Thecekzobsha and to traps in the dwarf fortress Ngalákrovol. However, on Moonstone 26, 859 almost exactly 90 years from the deaths, Moldath Leshaltölún arrived in Ngalakrovol and raised some of the dead companions for unknown purposes, then simply left them there. As of the end of the 9th century, they still haunt the fortress, whether for good or ill so far unknown.

Quotes[]
- "The exploits of The Walled Dye are becoming too great for this world to bear. The army of the dead nearly laid low the kingdoms of the world, but they were stopped. Now the frantic expansion of the nearly-ruined dwarfen empire shakes the foundations of the earth. Fortress after fortress, hero after hero. Genocides on levels unseen before. Great beasts stir beneath the earth and beyond the stars, slavering at the thought of bursting forth with all of their eldritch strength to consume all that stand before them and erasing their victims from existence... Holy-moly, how many times are we gonna have to rescue the world from being toyed with by us?", attributed.[2]
- "Lusko would eventually come back down from the mountains and tell those in the museum about the unimaginable riches and horrors that are hidden away in The Abyssal Sanctuary. Crafts made of brilliant blue metal are jealously guarded by many dangerous demons and devious weapon traps. Red statues of burning dwarves adorn the blackened halls of that forsaken place. Fidale apparently had no intentions of returning home, launching herself down into the pits of hell, leaving the rest of her companions to fend for themselves."
Notes and references[]
- ↑ Obtux does not appear in the Great White Tome in Fidale's entry or his own, nor in the Great Black Tome's entry of Fidale, but he does appear in the GBT in his own entry as joining her in midwinter 716, killing two humans, then ending the collaboration. He is first attested in Fidale's own log as the first companion alongside Nina.
