Shoveth Nåzomgenlath Sar

Shoveth Nåzomgenlath Sar, known in the common tongue as Shoveth Dreamsseduce the Unswerving (147 ATBT – 178), sometimes taking the name Githu Ibondon Ring (Githu Actionmassive the Bold) was a cinnamon brute type of demon and the only one of its kind carrying a name as of the 10th century. It was associated with theft and thunder.

Much of its existence is shrouded in mystery. On Opal 8, 101 it became the Master of Malladang, however not much else is known about it before then. It then acted erratically, at once attacking Adilatír, but also participating in its competitions.

Strange too for a demon, it actually worshiped 2 deities of Adilatír and 2 of Sastpesor, as presented in the order it is written it gave priority to: Avuz Thukkan, Sut Lomoth Akul, Imi and Erib Ugosh. It was also a member of Evost Dèg.

On Limestone 15, 178 it was struck down by a dwarf in Mattulon during Kök Loz as part of Uzo Era.

Legacy

Its death left an unsteady leadership. The human Estrur Smôngegozru took its position in 179, and she survived until 191, but between that year and 196, Malladang had one ruler per year. It is unknown if the demon's survival would have seen to the rise of Malladang, or if Shoveth was merely a trophy, albeit strong, leader for the goblins. After all, Malladang seems to have been the same before and after Shoveth's death. It is unknown if this strange behavior was influenced by the demon or if it was always Malladang's way.

Trivia

The demon is the only creature in Orid Xem who carries the name Dreamsseduce, or any variation of the "Dreamsse". There are two more creatures that begin with "Dreamss", both goblins, Dang Dreamsspiders and Obxog Dreamssmiles.

It is also one of three creatures to carry the name Shoveth, alongside Shoveth Tizötkob, a cave fish man, and Shoveth Gebbungek, a dingo.
